On the following page, please explain why you should be selected to receive this
scholarship.
1. An award of up to $1000.00 will be given annually to a full time (15 quarter or semister hours) college students majoring in agricultural related areas. Examples of acceptable fields of study will include agricultural education, agricultural mechanization and technology, agricultural engineering, agronomy, horticulture, plant pathology, and agricultural communications. Other fields of study may be selected at the discretion of the Board of Directors.The amount of the scholarship will be determined by the availability of funds.
2.The scholarship is limited to North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club members, or family members, or those recommended by North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club members.
3.The applicant may be a high school senior, or a college freshman at any accredited Georgia college.
4.Qualified applicants may be nominated by their high school, college, or by the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club. All applications must be submitted to the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club, Inc.
5.The North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club Board of Directors and membershipwill determine the recipients of the scholarships. Disbursements will be made in two payments of $500.00 each and will be made to the student at the beginning of the semister or quarter.The recipient will be required to furnish proof that they are enrolled in the approved field of study before receiving additional payments.Request for payments should be done by the recipient, in writing, to the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club president.
6.The application must be submitted by April 1st
7.The selection of the scholarship will be made by the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club Board of Directors, then approved by the membership.
